World Balloon Convention San Diego 2018

I went off to the World Balloon Convention 2018 in San Diego and WOW what a great experience it was. This was my 4th international convention and they just keep getting better.
This was a photo booth scene that you could walk behind and have your guests pictures taken in. It was part of the sign in hall decor.
I just loved this competition entry in the medium sculpture division. It did come a place, Congratulations to the creators Kanako Takahashi from Japan.
It was all work and no play for us Aussie's at WBC.......
Haha, yeah right!
We had a Beach Party theme night and the aussies went as lifesavers.
We had an absolute ball and dominated the dancefloor till we were kicked out.
Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, oi, oi, oi!!!!
The teachers at this WBC were amazing. I have so much respect for what they do and how they share their knowledge. I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunity this gives us to learn from the best.
And just a quickly as it started it was all over.
Final night Gala was a huge spectacular of balloons in a giant marque.
I had 12 hours to spare before the flight hope, so off to Disneyland I went with my husband. I was like a kid in a candy store. There were balloons everywhere and I couldn't have been happier.
I truly am blessed to have found my passion in life and be able to work with it everyday and in such an amazing industry.
Cheers Di
